During lockdown I found an EDS-site on Facebook. About a million things made sense for the first time. The same things were still a problem for thousands of others: Despair, shame, confusion, and above all lack of information and support. From family members, partners, bosses and many self-important and downright stupid doctors.
Somebody needed to tell everybody about living a life in unnecessary pain. And maybe causing others unnecessary pain.
So I wrote “One in Thousands – my life as a rarity”.
An autobiography with a twist.
